Amar Shah, 43, of Alpine Road, Queensbury, is due to appear before Willesden Magistrates’ Court today (April 25) after being charged with attempted murder.
He was remanded in custody after Metropolitan Police officers were alerted to an assault in Alpine Road at 8.14pm on April 23.
They were dispatched to the scene with the London Ambulance Service, where a man in his 70s was found suffering a stab wound to the stomach.

He was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
In an update today (April 25), a spokesperson for the Met has advised his condition remains the same.
A Met spokesperson added: “Police are not seeking any other persons in connection with this incident and we do not believe that there is a risk to the wider public.”
