Police tape is covering parts of Abbotts Park as officers investigate the attack yesterday (February 28) at 2.39pm.
Officers were called to reports of a serious assault and a 17-year-old boy was found with a stab wound to his leg.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigations into the stabbing are ongoing.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to Abbotts Park Road, E10 at 2.39pm on Friday (February 28) following reports of a serious assault.
“Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and a 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital after sustaining a stab wound to his leg.
“A cordon is in place at the scene and no arrests have been made at this stage. Enquiries remain ongoing.”
