The robberies were reported yesterday (November 20) on Mottisfont Road between 2pm and 3pm and are understood to have happened on the footbridge connecting Mottisfont Road to Bracondale Road.
According to police, there were no injuries and nothing was stolen.
There have been no arrests.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “On Wednesday, 20 November police received reports of attempted robberies on Mottisfont Road, Abbey Wood.
“Two victims reported they were threatened with a knife between 14:00hrs and 15:00hrs. There were no reported injuries and nothing was stolen.
“Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”
