Edward Lorryman, 37, of Manton Road, pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child at a Bromley Magistrates’ Court hearing in January.
The charge sheet states that between April 23 and May 10 last year he made sexually explicit comments to a girl under 16 who he did not reasonable believe to be 16 or over.
The comments were sexual, including describing fantasies such as sexually touching the girl and performing oral sex on her.
Last Monday (February 17) Lorryman was given a six-month sentence, suspended for 18 months.
He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
Lorryman will also be required to sign the sex offenders register for seven years.
