The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s from Roydon, was pronounced dead at the scene following the crash near Chipping Ongar on Sunday (October 19).
Police were called to the scene at around 12pm after a car and a motorbike had been involved in a serious crash.
The man’s family have been informed, Essex Police said.
A full road closure was in place between the junctions with Stony Lane and Penson’s Lane.
