Police were called to the junction of Radley Green Road heading to Ongar on the A414 today (July 16) at 7.10am.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s from Witham, died at the scene, Essex Police have said.
Officers shut off the road while investigations took place, however this has now been lifted.
An investigation into the crash has launched and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
