A man in his 20s was shot, leaving him in a life-threatening condition, following an incident with people inside a black BMW on the A41 North Western Avenue, near junction 5 in Watford of the M1, at around 5.20pm on July 25 last year.
Zarmina Galmne, 24, of Village Way, Pinner, and Selin Johnson, 24, of High Meadow Crescent, Kingsbury, appeared at St Albans Crown Court on Friday (February 14) and pleaded not guilty.
Their next hearing is set for February 3, 2026, and a trial date of March 2, 2026, has also been set.
Police previously said officers were linking a series of attacks within Watford, including the shooting, an assault at a takeaway two days earlier, a stabbing in Brocklesbury Close on July 24 and a disorder in Meriden Park on July 25.
Seven males are due to appear for trial on May 19, 2025, for charges including attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and violent disorder, in connection with violence in Watford last year.
