The London Ambulance Service was called at around 10.20am this morning (November 4) to a crash on the A406 in Ilford.
An ambulance crew was dispatched and one patient was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Her condition is unknown at this stage.
The road remains partially blocked with queueing traffic on the A406 North Circular Northbound after A118 Romford Road (Ilford Flyover).
There is also congestion towards the Barking Flyover.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 10.22am today (November 4) to reports of a road traffic collision on the A406, in Ilford.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated one patient at the scene and took her to hospital.”
