Transport for London (TfL) will be closing A2213 Kidbrooke Park Road in a northerly direction to carry out telecom works.
The closure will be in place between the junctions with the unnamed slip road connecting Kidbrooke Park Road to Rochester Way and Ignatius Sancho Road.
It will be effective between September 1 and September 4 every night from 9pm until 5am or when the works are completed, whichever is sooner.
During these times, traffic signs will indicate the extent of the closure.
TfL has said that the prohibitions will not apply to vehicles being used for the works or for emergency services.
The restrictions will also not apply to anything done with “the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a person authorised by Transport for London.”
At such times as the prohibition is in force, alternative routes will be indicated by traffic signs for westbound traffic via Kidbrooke Park Road, Eltham Road, Westhorne Avenue, Rochester Way Relief Road, Shooters Hill Road, and Kidbrooke Park Road to the normal route of travel.
For eastbound traffic on Kidbrooke Park Road, the alternative routes will be indicated via Westhorne Avenue, Rochester Way, Shooters Hill Road, and Kidbrooke Park Road to the normal route of travel.
