Emergency services were called to the A2 near the junction with the A227 Wrotham Road around 8.30am today (March 3).
National Highways described a multi-vehicle crash in which a vehicle had overturned, with all lanes being closed.
Two people were treated at the scene being taken to Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough.
Their injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
The vehicles were recovered and the road was cleared with all lanes reopening before 11am.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “SECAmb were called at approx. 08:38 today (03/03/25) to reports of a RTC on the junction of Watling Street and Wrotham Road in Gravesend.
“Crews assessed and treated two patients at the scene before conveying one female to Princess Royal University Hospital in Farnborough for further medical treatment.”
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 8.31am on Monday 3 March to a report of a collision involving two cars on the London-bound A2, near to the junction with the A227, Wrotham Road, Gravesend.
“Patrols attended along with highways officers and assisted with recovering the vehicles and clearing the road.
“Paramedics also attended, after injuries not considered to be life-threatening were reported.”
