National Highways maintains motorways and major A-roads, so smaller road shutdowns are not on its schedule. The A2 serves as a crucial link connecting Dover to the heart of London. It spans nearly 72 miles from Borough in the capital and finishes at the Dover Docks.

Monday, August 11
- A2 westbound – Dartford Heath to Danson Interchange: Carriageway closed from 10pm to 5am for routine TfL maintenance. Diversion via local roads.
- A21 both directions – Flimwell to Hurst Green: Closed from 8pm to 6am for surface works.
- A21 northbound – Vauxhall Lane to Morleys Road Roundabout: Carriageway and lane closed from 8pm to 6am for surface works.
- A282 northbound – Dartford Crossing West Tunnel: Closed from 10pm to 5.30am. Diversion via National Highways Network.
Tuesday, August 12
- A2 westbound – Bean entry slip road: Closed from 8pm to 6am for signage works.
- A2 westbound – Dartford Heath to Danson Interchange: Closed from 10pm to 5am for routine TfL maintenance.
- A2 westbound – Darenth Interchange to M25 clockwise Jct 2: Link road closed from 10pm to 5.30am for resurfacing.
