A13 Thames Gateway will be closed overnight at certain times between October 20 and June 20, 2027, according to a traffic order from Transport for London (TfL).
The closures – aimed to enable road safety works to take place – will occur between 9pm and 5am, however specific dates have not been confirmed.
Various sections of A13 will be affected by the closures, including the stretch between its junctions with Goresbrook Interchange and its slip roads to Marsh Way, between its junctions with Marsh Way and Ferry Lane slip roads, and between its junctions with Ferry Lane slip roads and Wennington Interchange.

Closures will only be in place when indicated by traffic signs and the works could finish sooner than the date of June 20, 2027.
During the closures, alternative routes will be clearly marked with traffic signs.
Diverted traffic will be directed via Ferry Lane, Lamson Road, and Marsh Way, among others, depending on the section of the road affected.
Certain vehicles are exempt from these closures, including any vehicle being used for the purposes of the road works, as well as emergency services.
