The Metropolitan Police was called to reports of a stabbing on Mitcham Road near the McDonald’s restaurant just before 3.30am today (January 18).
Officers found a 38-year-old man at the scene, where he was taken to hospital.
His injuries have been assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
Anyone with information about the incident which may help the police has been asked to call 101 quoting 968/18JAN.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: At 03:25hrs on Sunday, 18 January officers responded to reports of a stabbing in Tooting, south London.
“Officers found one victim, a man aged 38, at the scene on Mitcham Road.
“He was taken to hospital where his injuries have been assessed as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
“No arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information about the incident which may help officers is asked to call 101 quoting 968/18JAN.
