The Royal Ballet and Opera’s La Traviata is set to launch the initiative from January 14. Directed by Richard Eyre, the performance aims to transport viewers into a world of grandeur and the beauty of Verdi’s masterpiece.

Woolf Works, choreographed by Wayne McGregor, draws inspiration from Virginia Woolf’s stream of consciousness writing style, while Peter Wright’s 1985 production of Giselle delves into love, betrayal, and redemption.
Andreas Schager, in his much-anticipated debut with the Royal Ballet and Opera, stars as Siegfried’s titular hero, with Antonio Pappano conducting, drawing out the tensions and mysticism of Wagner’s dynamic score.
Shakespeare buffs can also look forward to two unique adaptations being specially filmed at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, with Othello onscreen from March 4.
Directed by Tony Award-winner Tom Morris OBE, the production explores themes of power, rage, and desire. National Theatre’s Hamlet, which stars Olivier Award-winner Hiran Abeysekera in the lead role, will be screened from January 22.
Helen Mirren will return as Queen Elizabeth II in the National Theatre’s The Audience from February 26. The performance, an inspiration for Netflix’s The Crown, allows viewers to revisit the academy award winner’s portrayal of the monarch.
The Metropolitan Opera’s Tristan und Isolde will arrive on screens starting March 24. Wagner’s piece, which explores love and death, will have Lise Davidsen and Michael Spyres star as the leading characters.
