Fireaway Pizza, which specialises in fresh, made-to-order pizzas using authentic Italian ingredients, is reopening under new ownership on January 18.
The restaurant at 53 Chislehurst Road is now owned by Mazhar Zahoor, who has announced a series of launch promotions to mark the occasion.
Mr Zahoor said: “We’re really excited to relaunch Fireaway Chislehurst and welcome customers back into the store under new ownership.
“I’ve always had a passion for food and hospitality, and after trying Fireaway for the first time I instantly fell in love with how fresh and authentic the pizzas tasted – completely different to anything else on the market.

“This is a brilliant opportunity for me to take on a new challenge and bring something exciting to the local area.
“We can’t wait to meet the community, introduce new customers to Fireaway and celebrate the relaunch in the best way possible, with 100 free pizzas on day one and £5 pizzas for the first two weeks.”
On the day of reopening, the first 100 customers will receive a free Margherita pizza. For the following two weeks, all pizzas will be available for £5 each.
Customers will also get a free garlic bread or portion of potato wedges with their first order, redeemable by registering online to receive a QR code for in-store use.
Mr Zahoor’s brother, Zaheer Ahmed, will manage daily operations, supported by a team with previous experience at the Chislehurst branch.
George Whiting, head of marketing at Fireaway, said: “This relaunch represents an important step in strengthening Fireaway’s overall portfolio and we’re thrilled to welcome Mazhar to the Fireaway family.”
The branch will be open for dine-in, collection and delivery.
