The exhibition at Highgate Gallery honours the late painter Joan Hodes, who lived in Keats Grove, and traces her journey from early sketches to finished works. featuring oils, drawings, pastels and prints.
Proceeds will fund the Joan Hodes Drawing Prize for the Slade School at University College London.

A talk titled ‘A Life of Expression and Colour’ will be held at 11am on February 14, led by Dr Una Richmond and chaired by Professor Paul Coldwell.
Hodes, who died in 2022, lived in Hampstead for more than 30 years. Her work is held in public collections including the British Museum, V&A, and UCL Art Museum.
The exhibition venue is the Highgate Literary & Scientific Institution, located at 11 South Grove, London N6 6BS.
