A woman was sexually assaulted by a man while sitting next to him on a tram travelling from West Croydon to Blackhorse Lane around 3.40pm on Wednesday, October 22 2025.
Officers believe the man captured in the CCTV images may hold information that could assist with their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 476 of 22 October.”

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board a tram from West Croydon to Blackhorse Lane tram stop have released these CCTV images in connection.
“On Wednesday 22 October 2025 at around 3.40pm a man sexually assaulted a woman sat next to him on the tram.
“Detectives believe the man in these CCTV images may have information that could help with their investigation.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 476 of 22 October.
“Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
