An Evening with Sir Derek Jacobi will see the distinguished actor, who lived in Belsize Park for many years, share stories and insights from his life.
He will be joined by his long-time partner, Richard Clifford, at the Chickenshed Theatre on January 18 from 7pm.
Sir Derek is known for roles in I, Claudius, Gladiator, Gosford Park, The King’s Speech, The Crown, and Last Tango in Halifax.
Mr Clifford’s work includes film, theatre, and opera, including Sir Kenneth Branagh’s Much Ado About Nothing.
For over two decades, he has been director at the Folger Shakespeare Library.
An Evening with Sir Derek Jacobi will be a fundraiser for the Chickenshed Theatre, with tickets starting at £20.
Both Sir Derek and Richard Clifford are ambassadors as well as long-standing supporters of the theatre and its work.
