Emergency services were called to Broadway in Bexleyheath today (January 4) just after 2am following reports of a shooting.
A 30-year-old man was treated for a gunshot wound before being taken to hospital.
A 35-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses in the area have reported that multiple closures are in place with forensics conducting investigations at the scene.
Currently Albion Road is closed between A221 Broadway and Oaklands car park, with eight bus routes being diverted.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.10am today (4 January) to reports of a shooting on Broadway, Bexleyheath.
“We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer. We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated two people and took them to hospital.”

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “On Sunday, 4 January at 02:15hrs, police were called to reports of a shooting on Broadway, Bexleyheath.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 30-year-old man for a gunshot wound before taking him to hospital. We await an update on his condition.
“A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at the scene. He was taken to hospital due to his injuries.
“Anyone with information that may assist police is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 630/04Jan.”
