An overhead power supply failure was reported yesterday (December 30), resulting in major disruption to passengers at St Pancras International and Paris Gare du Nord.
Customers were advised to postpone their travel from either station until a later date due to severe delays and last-minute service cancellations.
National Rail has confirmed this morning (December 31) that the issue in the Channel Tunnel is ongoing, with a second incident involving fault on a train causing some lines to be blocked.
Eurostar is reportedly planning to run all scheduled services, but customers are warned that delays and last-minute cancellations are possible on trains running between London St Pancras International and Amsterdam Central, Brussels Midi, and Paris Gare du Nord.
