Emergency services cordoned off Fellowes Road today (December 30) at 2.23pm following reports of the incident.
At the scene, medics treated a man before he was taken to hospital.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Around the same time, there was another crash slightly further away on Pound Street, near High Street.
Police were called to the scene to manage traffic as the road was blocked both ways at Park Hill with buses diverted including the 407, S4 and SL7.
However, traffic has since returned to normal and there has been no word on any potential injuries.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called today (Tuesday 30) at 2.23pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Fellowes Road, Carshalton.
“We sent resources including ambulance crews and an incident response officer.
“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital.”
