The concert, called Joyful Voices, took place on December 8 at Allum Manor Hall in Elstree.
Organised by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and attended by 300 guests, it raised £20,000 to support the hospice’s work with children and families across north central London.

Carly Paoli, a soprano who has performed around the world and was described by the Pope as having “the voice of an angel”, led performances and hosted the event.
She has shared the stage with artists including Andrea Bocelli, Sir Rod Stewart, and Michael Bolton, and has performed for the King and Queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Speaking about the concert, the Mansfield-born singer said: “It was a pleasure and privilege to perform for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice’s Joyful Voices Concert alongside local school choirs who have all raised money to help the hospice continue its vital work.
“That will be my abiding memory of the evening: children helping other children.
“To me, that is the spirit of Christmas.”
The audience was also treated to performances by children’s choirs from five primary schools across north London and trained opera singers Katie Hainbach and Tom Morss.

Katie Hainbach, who helped organise the event, said: “It was a true pleasure to help organise and perform at the Joyful Voices Concert.
“Noah’s Ark does such important work for families like ours, and we are so honoured to be able to give back and raise awareness of the vital services they offer.”
Alison Goodman, deputy chief executive officer of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and co-host of the event, said: “Joyful Voices was an incredible evening full of festive spirit and heart-warming performances from five school choirs, Katie Hainbach and Tom Morss and acclaimed soprano, Carly Paoli.
“These events are not only an amazing way for our community to come together; they are also important opportunities for us to highlight our work, engage new supporters, and raise the essential funds needed to continue supporting our children and families.”
