The Kevin Jenkins OBE Newham Christmas Toy Appeal 2025 aims to ensure no child is left out this Christmas as organisers prepare to distribute presents.
The appeal is run by charity Ambition, Aspire, Achieve (AAA), which says it has received thousands of gifts over the past seven days.

The campaign is supported by the Newham Recorder as it has been for 48 years.
There is less than a week to go and organisers are continuing to urge people to donate.
East Ham MP Sir Stephen Timms visited the appeal’s toy warehouse, in Beckton, to see first-hand the charity’s ongoing efforts.
He was also spotted donating money and met appeal coordinator Paula Blake.

Hundreds more donations continued over the week including from brothers 13-year-old Neo and 11-year-old Rico and their mother, Rina.
The trio donated Christmas presents they collected as part of their Treats for Kids campaign.

The Transport for London lost property team invited AAA’s chief executive Jonny Boux to their new home at West Ham Depot and Bus Garage to hand over new gifts and toys that have been left on trains and buses and never reclaimed.
L&G Newham also gave presents to AAA’s Liam Hartley-Davies and Tracy Smith.

Bank of New York employees also came down to the Beckton warehouse with their donations and used their volunteering time helping pack gifts for referrals, wrap pass-the-parcels, and prepare festive surprises.

The appeal operates by distributing gift donations to disadvantaged, vulnerable, and at-risk children.

There are several ways to donate gifts including Amazon, in-person drop-off, or giving directly to the charity during the opening times at Terence Brown Arc in the Park, in Bethell Avenue, Canning Town, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and from 10am to 1pm on Saturdays.
