The unique event offers festive fun away from the typical Christmas crowds.
For one affordable ticket, attendees can enjoy three hours of entertainment, animal encounters, cosy seasonal food, music, crafts, and games.

Funds from tickets, which cost £18.95 per adult, £16.95 per child, or £65 for a group of four, will be used for conservation, education, and welfare projects at the zoo.
Gemma Cathie, the education and events manager at the zoo, said: “As London families look for Christmas events that feel special and full of memory-making experiences without the premium price tag, we’re proud to offer something where the animals are the main event.”

Visitors will enjoy live music, food and drink stalls, festive crafts, and the opportunity to learn about the zoo’s residents from the “fun” talks by the keeper team.
Audiences can also look forward to performances from local choirs and musicians during the event.
Children can engage in various craft activities, such as making reindeer food, with all activities either free or under £3.

The event creates an opportunity to see the zoo’s animals in a different light, with the chance to hand-feed donkeys, watch the lemurs during their supper, and meet the zoo’s rare-breed pigs.
A first-time visitor from last year’s edition of Winter Nights at the Zoo was delighted.
They said: “Who knew that an alpha female is at the top of the lemur hierarchy?”

Another added, “It was such a lovely evening.
“We really enjoyed listening to the keepers’ animal talks and helping to feed the pigs.
“It was a lovely way to start our Christmas celebrations.”
Food lovers will appreciate the range of food and beverages available from the Zoo Café and local partner Ruffled Truffle, who will provide BBQ favourites.
Coupled with seasonal winter warmers and a variety of drinks, visitors will be kept warm throughout the evening.
Tickets for December 20 and 21 can be purchased on the Battersea Park Children’s Zoo website.
