Micah Whitely was found injured inside RK Express store in High Road just before 1pm on December 1.
He was transferred to Northwick Park Hospital but died a short time later.
Kevon Jenkins, 22, of Wharton Close, Brent was charged with murder and possession of a pointed and bladed article.
He was due to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on December 4.
A woman, aged 21, was arrested at the same time on suspicion of assisting an offender and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at around 12.55pm on Monday, 1 December, to reports of a stabbing.
“A 22-year-old man was treated at the scene but sadly later died in hospital.
“His family continue to be supported by specialist officers.”
