Emergency services were called to the stabbing in Mile End Road at around 9.40pm on Sunday (December 7).
Two men were treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) before being rushed to a major trauma centre.
A spokesperson for LAS said resources including ambulance crews, a clinical team manager and an incident response officer were sent to Mile End Road.

The spokesperson said: “We were called on Sunday, December 7 at 9.39pm to reports of a stabbing in Mile End Road, E1.
“We sent resources including ambulance crews, a clinical team manager, and an incident response officer.
“We treated two men at the scene before taking them to a London major trauma centre.”
The Metropolitan Police has also been contacted about this incident, but did not provide any further details.
