The oversized knit, named ‘The Big Comfort,’ is the brainchild of Southern Comfort, designed to keep revellers warm and cosy outside the capital’s packed establishments.
The jumper’s unique design includes six neck holes, six sleeves, and a large, shared body.
It’s essentially a wearable ‘group hug,’ inspired by the British tradition of socialising outside busy pubs during the chillier months.

Southern Comfort has specifically marketed the novelty clothing item to students and young Londoners, who have been shown to spend an average of nearly five hours outdoors at pubs during the Christmas season, even when it’s bitterly cold.
According to the drinks company, more than two-thirds of pub-goers are undeterred by the freezing weather, and 64 per cent admit the cold “doesn’t stop the fun.”
For many, the pub becomes a second home during the festive season, serving as a place of reunion for Londoners returning to the city or students coming back from university.

The company said this was the inspiration for The Big Comfort jumper.
Its extra sleeves mean there’s always a free hand for a Southern Comfort and Lemonade, and its oversized knit is warm enough to withstand even the most brutal London wind tunnel.
A Southern Comfort spokesperson said: “Christmas isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being real.
“It’s coming home from uni, dropping your bags, and instantly falling back into old rhythms and comforts.
“The Big Comfort is a brilliantly ridiculous way to bring mates closer when you’ve been apart for months.”
The jumper is not just a solution to the cold, but also a nod to the chaotic, fun-filled nature of Christmas reunions.
It is aimed at students returning from university, old friends coming together, and anyone who has shared a group hug outside a London pub.
The Big Comfort will be available in a very limited release via Southern Comfort’s social channels from 3rd December.
Based on past festive promotions, it is expected to sell out quickly.
However, only time will tell as to whether the jumper catches on.
But one thing remains clear: only in the UK could a six-person jumper genuinely make sense.
