This will be in place between approximately 11am and 8pm each Saturday from Saturday 20 December.
This is part of plans to add four extra trains per hour on Saturdays across the line to meet increased demand for weekend leisure travel.
This will increase the number of trains running between Whitechapel and Paddington to 20 per hour.
The other station to get two extra trains per hour is Gidea Park.
This will mean more frequent services to destinations like Bond Street and Tottenham Court Road.
The services will be re-timed to ensure the increased timetable runs at consistent intervals.
Transport for London (TfL) has advised commuters to check travel updates on the TfL website, or on the TfL Go app, before setting off.
Trish Ashton, director of rail at TfL, said: “The Elizabeth line is the UK’s most popular railway service, with around 800,000 journeys made every day.
“Whether enjoying an afternoon of shopping, or seeing a show in the West End, we’re really pleased that customers travelling on Saturdays will now benefit from more frequent services from the eastern branches into central London.
“As with all timetable updates, we recommend checking your journey before you set off, on the TfL Go app, or at TfL.gov.uk.”
The Elizabeth line opened in 2022, and has since become the UK’s single busiest railway service, with an average of 800,000 journeys made each day.
The line connects key destinations from east to west, including Heathrow with Paddington, Tottenham Court Road and Liverpool Street.
Each Elizabeth line train has four dedicated wheelchair spaces in the fifth carriage, located close to the doors, to ease boarding.
There are also ten multi-use spaces per train, designated for passengers with buggies, luggage, and cycles.
On Saturdays the line will run two extra trains per hour from Abbey Wood and two per hour from Gidea Park.
