The event, which took place on Thursday, kicked off a range of festive offerings at the market.
The singer, songwriter, rapper and presenter from Walthamstow, who has competed in The X Factor both in a group and as a solo artist, was in charge of starting the festivities.
Camden Market will be decorated with a ‘ceiling of light’ above Water Lane, along with special Christmas lights inspired by snowflakes.

Visitors can also enjoy six Christmas trees, decorated in icy blue and fuchsia pink.
The market’s Christmas line-up features the Ice Palace Grotto, starting on December 6, which offers families a chance to meet Father and Mother Christmas.
Taking place in Hawley Wharf Food Hall on select dates throughout December, this immersive experience (£10 for three hours) includes a variety of activities for children, such as art tables, a story corner, and face painting.
A pound from each ticket sold will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

On December 6, from 12.30pm to 4.30pm, the public can join the opening celebrations at Hawley Wharf.
This will include the opening of the Enchanted Ice Grotto at Hawley Wharf Waterside Halls food court and a performance from the Big Sing at Market Place, Hawley Wharf at 3.30pm.
Camden Market, dating back to 1974, is London’s largest market and is home to over 1,000 traders.
It offers a mix of music, fashion, retail, experiences, street food, and restaurant concepts.
As always, market stalls, small and independent traders will be at the core of Camden Market.
