In the last few weeks, Holland & Barrett signage has appeared on North End in the old Factory Outlet store.
Holland & Barrett has not directly confirmed the store’s opening, but its website suggests that operation is in full swing.
Holland & Barrett supplies a range of health foods, organics, vitamins and mineral supplements, and the company describes itself as “the place to go when you’re in need of a natural pick-me-up”.
The store also stocks an array of alternative medicines and a collection of herbal and homoeopathic remedies.
Holland & Barrett saw a major transformation in stores all over the country in 2024, including in Wallington, Sutton, and Morden.
The chain first opened in 1870 and has spent more than a century growing from a small grocery and clothing store into one of the UK’s most recognisable health and wellness retailers.
Today, it operates hundreds of branches across the country and overseas, offering vitamins, supplements, natural beauty and specialist nutrition products.
Over the decades, the brand has evolved with changing consumer habits, positioning itself as a go-to high street name for people looking to improve their wellbeing or seek advice on healthier living.
The Croydon store is open between 9am and 6.30pm from Monday to Saturday, and 10.30am to 5pm on Sunday.
We contacted Holland & Barrett for a statement, but we did not hear back.
