The trio turned a sleepy street into a full-blown festive fiesta – complete with the former footballer starring as an angel.
It opens with an exhausted mum spying a house covered in fairy lights, leaving her bewildered at how Christmas is upon us already.
Without warning, the quiet street explodes into a surreal, theatrical spectacle as a parade sweeps through the street. The Debenham’s Delivered film – the online department store’s Christmas advert – sees trumpets blare and flapper-style dancers burst into view as television presenter and podcaster Olivia Attwood, dressed as a dazzling drummer girl, leads the procession.
Perched at the top of a towering staircase in a high-heel shoe parade float, comedian and presenter Judi Love rallies the neighbours, turning reluctant onlookers into eager party guests.
While football pundit Peter Crouch, decked out in enormous white angel wings, crowns a giant gift tree, declaring “Christmas – let’s have it!”.
The story captures the mixed emotions of the season from neighbours already draped in tinsel to those struggling to find their sparkle.
Olivia Attwood said: “Too soon for Christmas? Not on my watch!
“This campaign is bursting with sparkle, laughter, and a touch of mischief – exactly how I like my festive season.”
While Peter Crouch added: “I’ve never been an angel before, but this might be my best role yet.
“It’s fun, it’s bold, and it captures that moment we all need when Christmas finally kicks in.
Judi Love said: “We’ve all had those moments where Christmas feels like a bit too much, but once the music starts and the lights come on, you can’t help but get swept up in it.
That’s what this film does – it brings the joy right to your doorstep.” Dan Finley, CEO at Debenhams Group, said, “This year’s ‘Debenhams Delivered’ campaign captures the moment when the magic of Christmas quite literally lands on your doorstep.
“At its heart, it’s about connection – bringing people together through joy, laughter and the ease of finding everything you need in one place.
“With familiar faces like Olivia Attwood, Peter Crouch and Judi Love leading the celebration, the film captures that unmistakable British warmth and humour.
“We want our customers to feel that same sense of sparkle and magic this Christmas.”
