Christmas is just 20 days away, so English Heritage is getting the whole family into the festive spirit and helping to save money too.

Here’s what is happening at some of English Heritage’s popular sites this December.
Audley End House and Gardens, Essex.

Belsay Hall, Northumberland.
Herd your family together for a baaa-rilliant Christmas trail as you track down 12 super-sized sculptures of Shaun the Sheep designed by different artists. The ‘Find the Flock’ trail runs from Wednesday to Sunday and is a collaboration with Wild in Art and Aardman. Other events at Belsay include the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and an afternoon tea experience. Check out all that’s happening via this link.

Dover Castle, Kent.
Explore the castle and take part in Christmas crafts as well as toasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Medieval music events take place on December 6 to 7 and December 20 to 21. Check out the link here.

Eltham Palace, London.
Look out for the Christmas Wreath Trail as you wander through the grounds and performers will provide sounds of the season in the Great Hall. Father Christmas will also be in attendance at weekends until December 21. Check out the line-up here.
Wrest Park, Bedfordshire.
It will be a case of Fleece Navidad as the ‘Find the Flock’ trail celebrates 12 super-sized sculptures of Shaun the Sheep. The collaboration with Wild in Art and Aardman and promises to be a hit this festive season. On selected dates, enjoy live music in the staircase of the hall of the mansion and afternoon tea is available until December 21 from Wednesday through to Sunday. See the full line up via this link.
