James, who spoke using a different name, said he was once threatened with a knife and his daughter is “terrified” of the group.
He spoke shortly after a double stabbing outside the station earlier this month.
He said: “It’s a massively known issue. It’s been happening since the summer.
“There’s normally a gang of like eight or sometimes more of them. They’re always smoking weed, they’re always hassling people.

“One time I was followed into a shop and they waited outside for me.
“When I came out they were like ‘you’re going to buy this [drugs] off me aren’t you, you’re going to buy this off me’, and they showed me a knife.
“The guys in the shop weren’t going to do anything because they’re scared.
“I literally ran past them, jumped on a bus to my house and called the police.”
This incident, one of at least three James has reported to police between June and September, came months before two teenagers were stabbed outside Dollis Hill station on November 12.

James, a designer, said the stabbing came as “no surprise” given his experience.
He added that the group are “impacting everyone’s life” – including that of his 18-year-old daughter.
James said: “She’s terrified of going to Dollars Hill Station because of those guys.
“She feels threatened, she feels that it’s not a safe area and obviously someone got stabbed.
“She tries to get to school on the train and if I’m going into the office in the morning, she’ll text me and say, ‘do you know if they’re there?’
“Because if they’re there – she calls them ‘the scary people’ – she’ll walk to Willesden.”

“I’ve called the police every time I see something and they’re like thanks a lot, there’s nothing we can do about it.”
We contacted the Met Police for details of James’ reports as well as any actions the force intends to take, but it did not respond.
James asked: “Why do they feel they have the right to intimidate people?
“It’s Christmas time soon, you know. They’re going to be out there waiting for people to come back for Christmas shopping.
“And they’re going to start robbing people again.”
The Metropolitan Police was approached two weeks ago for a response but has not given one.
