The huge outdoor concert will be a homecoming gig for the band who cut their teeth performing on West London’s grassroots music scene.
The Londoners will take to the Great Oak stage on Saturday July 4, 2026 after a full day of music – including special guests The War On Drugs.
Further support acts will be revealed for the day – with tickets going on sale at 10am on Thursday December 4.
Since forming in 2007, Mumford & Sons have travelled the world, headlining festivals, topping charts, and collaborating with icons like Dylan, Springsteen and Neil Young.
This year they scored a No.1 album with Rushmere and embarked on a sold out global arena tour. And next February they release their new album Prizefighter which features Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez.
Mumford & Sons, who are lead vocalist/guitarist Marcus Mumford, bassist Ted Dwane, and keyboardist Ben Lovett, said: “Hyde Park is woven into our story, it’s where so many memories were made. Coming back a decade later, with all this new music, feels incredibly special.
“London is and always will be the band’s home. We can’t wait.”
Blending traditional folk instruments with a rock sound, the band are known for their energetic live shows complete with anthemic singalongs to hits such as Little Lion Man, The Cave, and I Will Wait.
Their July 4 set in Hyde Park will celebrate every corner of the band’s catalogue from early favourites and classics to brand-new songs performed for the first time.
Expect one of the biggest sing-alongs Hyde Park will see all summer.

Mumford & Sons join previously announced 2026 BST Hyde Park headliners country star Garth Brooks (Saturday June 27), Pitbull (Friday July 10 and Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi (Saturday July 11 and Sunday July 12).
