Police shut off the junction of Hammers Lane and The Ridgeway yesterday (November 26) at 6.34pm after the incident involving a motorbike and a car.
Emergency services including firefighters were at the scene as medics treated a patient at the scene.
The motorcyclist, 55, was treated at the scene for leg and facial injuries.
He was taken to hospital as a priority, where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The junction between The Ridgeway and Hammers Lane by The Three Hammers pub was closed for a short time but has since reopened.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 6.34pm yesterday (26 November) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Hammers Lane and The Ridgeway, Mill Hill.
“We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car to the scene.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “We were called at 1844 hrs yesterday (26 November) to a report of a road traffic collision on Hammers Lane in Mill Hill.
“Two vehicles were involved including a motorcycle. One person was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
“Two fire engines from Mill Hill and Finchley fire stations attended the scene and crews made the scene safe.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “At 18:35hrs on Wednesday, 26 November, police received reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car on The Ridgeway, Barnet.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance service, who treated the motorcycle rider – a 55-year-old man – at the scene for leg and facial injuries.
“He was taken to hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.
“The London Fire Brigade was also in attendance.
“The junction between The Ridgeway and Hammers Lane was closed for a short time but has since reopened.”
