Epping Ongar Railway in Essex has announced the return of its two popular Christmas events: Santa’s Special Trains and the Lights Party Express.
From November 29, families can take a festive steam train journey to meet Santa Claus on the Santa’s Special Trains event.
The train runs through Epping Forest, and children will have the chance to share their Christmas wishes with Santa and receive a gift from him.
For those looking for something a little different, the Lights Party Express offers a “truly unique” winter adventure.
This event will run on selected dates throughout November, December, and January and will include a “spectacular” light show set to music.
Passengers will be able to see “stunning” views that transform the railway line into a glowing neon wonderland.
Interactive LED wristbands that sync with the light show will help to add to the fun.
