The Office for National Statistics and Land Registry have released new figures looking at median (average) house prices for every middle layer super output area (MLSOA) in all England and Wales local authorities.
The most recent data refers to the year ending March 2025.
The area in Newham with the most expensive median house price according to the data is Forest Gate East, with a £615,000 average.
The second most expensive is East Village with an average of £570,000 whilst Forest Gate North comes closely in third place with £560,000.
In fourth place was West Ham Park with an average of £551,500 and in fifth was Silvertown & Royal Wharf with an average of £548,500.
The sixth, seventh and eighth places were compiled of Plaistow North, Carpenters Estate & Stratford New Town and Manor Park North with respective averages of £530,000, £527,000 and £510,000.
The top 10 most expensive neighbourhoods in Newham was completed with Plashet East in ninth place averaging a median price of £485,000 and Plashet West with a £475,000 average price.
At the other end of the table Mill Meads had the cheapest average price according to the data with £355,000.
North Woolwich and Canning Town East were the joint second cheapest with £360,000 averages.
Custom House was next in the list with £365,000 whilst Upton Park and Little Ilford East registered averages of £375,000.
Beckton placed fifth cheapest with £380,000, followed closely by Manor Park South with £380,256 and Plaistow Park with £382,500.
The bottom 10 was completed with Canning Town Central which had an average of £390,000, Beckton Park with an average of £393,000 and Beckton North with the tenth cheapest median house price – £395,000.
