Police were called to an attempted burglary on Horsey Rise at around 10.30am today (November 24).
The suspect, a 31-year-old man, fled before officers arrived at the scene.
But he was later spotted and police gave chase, catching him on a nearby bus.
Officers’ tasers were fired after they allegedly saw him with a knife.
As he was being arrested, he is said to have spat at two officers and attacked another two.
All four were taken to hospital and have since been discharged. A knife was found at the scene.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, grievous bodily harm, theft and assaulting an emergency worker.

He was also taken to hospital by police due to concerns for his welfare where he remains.
Hornsey Rise was closed by police following the incident with a bus pictured inside a cordon.
Officers were pictured looking up at the bus.
There were no reports of any injuries to passengers.
An investigation into the incident is underway and the public are being asked to contact police with any information.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “On Monday, 24 November at 10:27hrs police were called to reports of an attempted burglary on Hornsey Rise, Crouch Hill.
“The suspect, a 31-year-old man, fled the scene before officers arrived.
“Officers later identified the man and detained him on a nearby bus, following a pursuit.
“He was seen to be in possession of a knife and tasers were discharged by police after he refused to surrender the weapon.
“During his arrest, two officers were spat at and two were assaulted.
“All four were taken to hospital and later discharged.
“No injuries were life-threatening or life-changing. The knife was recovered at the scene.
