The Christmas memory train on the Epping Ongar Railwayis set to depart from North Weald station on Wednesday, December 3.
Epping Forest district residents can enjoy the ride for free, along with a friend, family member, or carer.
The journey will include a trip to Ongar station, where passengers can explore the station, visit the museum, learn about the railway, and meet Father Christmas.
The train will then return to North Weald station, offering views and a light lunch before arriving at 1pm.
On arrival, passengers will be treated to a mulled drink and mince pie.
The trip has been organised by Epping Ongar Railway and Epping Forest District Council’s community development and wellbeing team.
Thanks have also been extended to SunVit-D3, Hammond & Smith, and private individuals for their sponsorship.
Tickets can be booked by calling 01992 564226, Monday to Friday, from 10am to 4pm.
All attendees must be accompanied by a carer or companion.
Parking and toilet facilities are available at both stations and on the train.
