More than 84 children across Busy Bees nurseries in Harrow are taking part in the Great Kindness Swarm, a UK-wide campaign aiming for 250,000 acts of kindness to raise funds for BBC Children in Need.
The campaign encourages each child to complete six simple acts of kindness, such as sharing toys, helping friends, and supporting their communities.

The initiative is part of Busy Bees’ UK-wide campaign involving 47,000 children and colleagues across 350 nurseries, aiming to spread joy and raise money for children’s charities.
Chris McCandless, European CEO of Busy Bees, said: “We’re proud to see our Great Kindness Swarm buzzing across the country.
“Our children are discovering that even the smallest act of kindness can spark something bigger – in their nurseries, their communities, and beyond.”
At Busy Bees Harrow, activities have included baking treats for neighbours, planting kindness flowers, and making kindness cards.
An area director at Busy Bees said: “Our children have loved finding creative ways to be kind.
“Together, these small gestures will create a powerful wave of hope, joy, and generosity.”
The campaign is part of Busy Bees’ partnership with BBC Children in Need, supporting the charity’s Challenge Yourself to 25 initiatives.
To date, Busy Bees has raised more than £110,000 for the cause.
