Strictly Air Ambulance 2026, in aid of the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust, will take place at the Brentwood Centre on Saturday, March 14.
The event combines celebrity glamour with a life-saving cause, raising vital funds to support the air ambulance’s emergency missions across Essex, Hertfordshire, and neighbouring areas.
Last year’s show raised £58,000, one of the highest totals in the event’s 13-year history.
Trust chief executive Mark Jarman-Howe said: “The energy, talent and generosity we see every year is truly inspiring.
“Last year’s total helped our crews reach more people in life-threatening emergencies and we can’t wait to make 2026 even more spectacular.
“It’s a night that makes a real difference, and we’d love everyone to be part of it.”
Next year’s competition will see seven amateur contestants, including professionals from fitness, finance, education, and tourism, paired with professional dancers to compete for the Glitterball Trophy.
Themed around TV and film, the routines will draw inspiration from iconic screen moments.
The evening will feature 14 dance performances, plus special performances from Strictly Come Dancing star Vincent Simone and his professional partner Victoria Martin.
The judging panel includes TV personality and influencer Dani Dyer, who said: “I’m really excited to get the chance to channel my inner Shirley Ballas and be part of the judging panel at this year’s Strictly Air Ambulance extravaganza.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing all the couples’ routines.
“The evening is going to be amazing and all for such a great cause.”
They will be joined on the panel by Chelmsford Dance Centre director and head judge Phil Meacham, British national professional showdance champion Ben Milan-Vega, and Mr Simone.
Hosting the evening will be the air ambulance’s charity ambassador Lisa Snowdon and ITV’s David Whiteley.
The trust is currently seeking a headline sponsor, as well as businesses willing to donate raffle and auction prizes.
Tickets are available now via the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust website.
The show will run from 7pm to 10.30pm.
