Around 1% of users have claimed to have problems with the website.
Highlighting the issue, one person wrote: “I go to listen to a podcast and it completely closes the app.”
According to Down Detector, another added: “I keep getting logged out for no reason.”
Newsquest approached Spotify for comment this morning when the first reports were recorded.
