The 1980s pop legends will play the Electric Ballroom next April around the corner from where the band first started.
Posting on Instagram, the duo said the five shows, entitled Pet Shop Boys Obscure, would celebrate the 40th anniversary of 1986 debut album Please and marked a chance to go deeper into their catalogue and give fan favourites a chance to be heard live.
They wrote: “In contrast to the duo’s Dreamworld The Greatest Hits live tour the new shows will see PSB perform a set-list featuring only non single album tracks and B-sides from across their acclaimed career with many songs being played live for the first time.”
The shows run at the Camden High Street venue from April 6 to 10, 2026, with the April 8 show a fundraiser for the charity War Child.
The Pet Shop Boys were formed by music journalist and singer Neil Tennant and keyboard player Chris Lowe in the early 1980s and used a basement studio in Murray Street, Camden Town to write and record their first songs including West End Girls, It’s a Sin, and Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots of Money).

They used the studio for free in exchange for a share of publishing rights and it was a re-recorded West End Girls that became their first single – and first No 1 in 1985.
They have since released 15 studio albums and notched up 22 top 10 hits.
Since opening in 1938 as The Buffalo Club, the Electric Ballroom has served over more than eight decades as a nightclub, Irish ballroom, market, roller disco and now a 1,500 capacity music venue that has hosted everyone from U2 to Sir Paul McCartney.
Priority ticket access for Pet Shop Boys Obscure opens on Wednesday, November 19 at 10am with tickets going on general sale on Friday, November 21 at 10am.
Fans who pre-order newly announced book, Pet Shop Boys Volume, via the official store will also receive exclusive priority ticket access for the Electric Ballroom concerts.
