The election is for the Matching ward on Matching Parish Council.
Those interested in standing can submit nomination papers to the returning officer at Epping Forest District Council’s Civic Offices in High Street, Epping.
The deadline to submit these is Friday, November 14, at 4pm.
Nomination papers can be obtained from the same offices or online on the Epping Forest District Council website.
If the election is contested, polling will occur on Thursday, December 11.
Residents wishing to vote must ensure they are registered by midnight on Tuesday, November 25.
Registration can be done online at gov.uk/register-to-vote.
For those who wish to vote by post or amend their postal or proxy votes, applications must be submitted by 5pm on Wednesday, November 26.
To apply for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election, the application deadline is 5pm on Wednesday, December 3.
New applications to vote by proxy must also be submitted by this time.
Those needing to vote by emergency proxy can apply until 5pm on the day of the election, Thursday, December 11.
