LA Café, located just opposite Sutton station, has been awarded the Gold Seal at the 2025/26 Good Food Award.
This marks its fourth consecutive win and second time achieving the prestigious Gold Seal honour.
Owner and chef Ankur Baria, who opened LA Café in 2021, said he was “deeply honoured” by the latest recognition.

The multi-award-winning bistro is renowned for its creative menu, friendly atmosphere and restaurant-style dishes that break away from the traditional cafés.
The Good Food Award recognises independent businesses that deliver exceptional quality, service, and value, and this is a criterion that LA Café has continued to meet every year since opening.

Since opening, the café has become a local favourite, earning a rare five-star Google rating from nearly 1,600 reviews.
This year alone, it has collected a number of other accolades, including the #LoveSuttonBiz Award and a scored a perfect 10/10 in Gary Eat’s new “Where Gary Eats” food guide.
Known for its daily-changing specials and ever-evolving menu, LA Café ensures no two visits are the same.

LA Café is open from 7am to 4pm on weekdays and 8am to 4pm on Saturdays, with plans in the early stages for a second branch, LA Café Bistro, which will offer evening dining.
