The sponsored walk took place this Halloween season and started in Southgate, finishing in Brimsdown, with stops at several McDonald’s restaurants along the route.
Among those taking part were Brimsdown restaurant business manager Mahamud and franchisee supervisor for the area Riskan.
The team has raised £700 so far, with money still coming in for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, which provides free accommodation and support to families with children in hospital.
John Loizou, a McDonald’s franchisee who owns 12 restaurants in the area, said: “I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved as a team—not just completing the walk but raising vital funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.
“It is heartwarming to see my team come together for such a fantastic cause.
“Knowing that our efforts will help keep families close during some of their most difficult moments made every step worth it.”
Participants embraced the Halloween spirit by dressing up in costumes and face paint.
The team regularly fundraises for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK through in-store activities.
Customers can support the charity by rounding up their bill at kiosks, donating through collection boxes, or using the McDonald’s App.
