The inspections focused on licensed premises in Harlow town centre to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and promote public safety.
All six venues held the correct licences, with four found to be fully compliant.
Only minor changes were needed during the visits, including updates to signage and operational practices.
Two premises received additional guidance, with one set to update its layout plan and the other to improve signage and record-keeping.
Officers will revisit the businesses in the coming weeks to offer continued support and ensure the recommended changes have been made.
Councillor Joel Charles, Harlow Council’s cabinet member for public protection, said: “Making sure all licensed premises in Harlow fulfil their legal responsibilities is a duty the council takes seriously.
“Licensable activities such as the sale of alcohol can only be provided by maintaining a high level of compliance.
“It is encouraging that local licensees are acting responsibly and taking the right steps to adhere to their respective set of conditions.
“Their actions are helping to reduce the impact of anti-social behaviour and crime.
“The whole purpose of Operation Guardian is to ensure Harlow remains a safe and welcoming place for all.”
