During Thursdays final (November 6), Traitor Alan was crowned champion of the BBC spin-off after against the two remaining Faithful.
The presenter burst into tears after he revealed to remaining contestants, comedian Nick Mohammed and historian David Olusoga, that he was a Traitor and told host Claudia Winkleman that the prize money, which amounted to £87,500, will go to a children’s cancer charity for neuroblastoma.
Throughout Celebrity Traitors, Alan created some of the most iconic scenes due to his hilarious reactions and “extraordinary” performances.
But now viewers are demanding Alan’s Channel 4 chat show is brought back as they “need more” of the “national treasure”.
Why did Alan Carr stop Chatty Man?
Chatty Man first aired on Channel 4 in 2009 and on Friday nights, Alan would catch up with A-Listers including Justin Bieber, Ryan Reynolds and Tom Hardy, in front of a studio audience, while making the most of his globe bar cart and sharing a beverage or two with a variety of famous faces.
Sadly, Chatty Man came to an end in 2016 after an impressive 16 seasons.
Alan previously spoke about why his popular Channel 4 chat show was axed, as he revealed on This Morning: “Booking three guests on a Wednesday, you’ve got to have three guests on the sofa and it’s just getting harder and harder.”
However taking to X after last night’s Celebrity Traitors episode, it seems many fans are desperate to see Chatty Man’s comeback.
Someone wrote: “okay so now the traitors has finished and everyone has remembered how funny and iconic alan is, bring back chatty man !!!!”
Another posted: “Alan Carr is a national treasure. Bring back chatty man. Give him a gig on strictly. Make him prime minister. Idc I just need more Alan.”
This person added: “Now bring back Chatty Man immediately.”
Meanwhile one viewer put: “Just bring back Chatty Man once and for all. Alan Carr is just hysterical and pretty much close to a national treasure.”
