The discount retailer has said it will be opening the shop in Stamford Hill Road, close to the junction in Amhurst Park Road, early next year.
The store is set to create around 40 new jobs.
Joe Loydon, regional head of property at Lidl GB, said: “We’ve seen demand for our products continue to rise across the capital and are excited to serve even more communities.
“We’re sure residents will rejoice to learn that the fit-out works are underway and we’re a step closer to bringing our much-loved products to Stamford Hill.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported us in our journey so far, we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors which are on track to open early next year.”
The 1,021sq m store will have a bakery, customer toilet, and “ample” car and bike parking spaces.
Lidl was crowned Supermarket of the Year, Fresh Produce Retailer of the Year, and the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Award at the Retail Industry Awards 2025.
The discount supermarket is also encouraging local primary schools to take part in its ‘Lidl Foodies’ programme to help children develop a love for healthy eating.
