Tom Abell, CEO of Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB), will address the inaugural West Essex Health & Care Conference in Epping on Wednesday, 5 November 2025.
Delivered in partnership with WorkReady, this conference focuses on strengthening collaboration between health and care providers and local government.
Mr Abell said: “The NHS is a part of a wider team with local government, community groups and the education sector – it’s not just NHS staff who are in the business of keeping us well.
“That is why it is right that we look for the opportunities to work together on training and lifelong learning.
“This is a great prospect to get a joint view on what team Essex needs to do.
“I am so excited for this event and applaud what Epping Forest District Council and colleagues are doing in this space.”
The conference, delivered in partnership with WorkReady, will bring together leaders, professionals, and stakeholders from across the health and care sector.
Other speakers include councillors Holly Whitbread and Kaz Rizvi.
The event will run from 9am to 12pm at the Civic Offices in Epping, with a networking breakfast and lunch included.
Registration is free through the WorkReady website.
